✸ ryoga ✸

I play Ryoga in a Fabula Ultima campaign with Fay as a DM. I won't tell much in the very slim chance one of my party members stumble upon this website, would be a shame to spoil them. :')

Ryoga is an oni from a world where civilisation has been relegated to sky islands after a cataclysm both birthed magic and rendered the surface of the planet inhabitable. He is currently travelling with his sister Miyu - played by my lovely friend Lid - but don't let their size difference fool you, he is the older sibling! They only have each other, and don't trust letting 'outsiders' in their affairs, much. Unless they have to.

Their clan has been passing on seal-based protective runes and symbols for generations, and Ryoga has been experimenting with them to make them useful in combat, and develop new seals and spells on his own. He is also really good with a bow, as he has been trained with one from a young age!

Ryoga has been chosen - well, he won the honor by beating all the other aspirants at archery - as the bearer of the sacred vambrace his village believes contains the spirit of his founder. After the Cataclysm, the vambrace was affected and started draining its surrounding of lifeforce - including its bearer. The superstitions of the village didn't change, though, and they've been carrying on the tradition, as siphoning the bearer prevents the vambrace from withering all its surroundings...
