dec 26th, 2021: "This year has been difficult for many reasons, but when it comes to personal art i was definitely less productive than last year... part of it is being burned out from work, but i believe it's also bc of spending another year in quasi-lockdown. my neurons are definitely less activated than they used to be.
after work was over i also felt really lost about what direction i want my art to go into and started rly overthink about that. it felt difficult to separate what i like drawing myself and what i have to draw for work, if that makes sense. i just drowned myself into video games instead of facing the issue bc i hated everything i drew. i've also even been wondering if i want to keep working in the animation industry but i have... no idea what else i'd do so i feel kind of stuck there for the time being.
this last quarter has been the less productive i've been in a few years even though i pushed one or two pieces out."
